Generating digital readership for a magazine persona.
Douglas Magazine, Victoria’s leading business magazine, was looking for a digital persona to reinforce its print media. We developed a clean, powerful engine for delivering information, a contemporary website with an intuitive user interface. Articles mirror a magazine layout with strong headlines and striking photography, finished with rollover colour changes, making the photos pop off the page. The magazine departments are represented in the primary navigation, helping users seamlessly navigate to stories of interest, and a secondary nav helps users locate the current issue at local distributors, as well as access past issues. Lastly, we integrated a branded page transition animation when clicking from page to page to reinforce the Douglas identity.
