Role Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and creative Front-End WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End WordPress Developer, you will implement and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites using WordPress. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress themes will enhance the user experience and ensure seamless functionality across various devices and browsers.

Responsibilities:
- WordPress Development: Collaborate with the design teams to translate visual designs and wireframes into fully functional and interactive WordPress websites.
- Theme Customization: Customize existing WordPress themes or develop custom themes from scratch, ensuring a consistent and branded look throughout the website.
- Responsive Design: Ensure all websites are optimized for various screen sizes and devices, providing a smooth user experience on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Plugin Integration: Integrate and configure WordPress plugins to extend website functionalities, such as contact forms, social media feeds, SEO optimization, caching, and more.
- Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for front-end performance optimization, including image compression, code minification, and caching techniques to achieve faster page load times.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistency of the website’s appearance and functionality.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-organized, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve front-end issues, bugs, and inconsistencies to maintain a flawless user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the UX/UI designers and content creators to ensure seamless design, functionality, and content integration.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development, WordPress, and web design, and apply them to enhance the quality of our websites.
- Security: Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard websites against threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress themes and templates, including custom theme development.
- Familiarity with PHP for theme customization and development.
- Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Constant willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
Advantageous:
- Understanding of the React framework and Gutenberg Blocks
- Knowledge of Twig template building
