What We Believe In
- Work as a team.
We value rapid innovation and excellent execution, and only have room for people who want to be at the top of their game AND work well with others. No brilliant jerks—empathy is a must. The admin team will help brainstorm creative ideas, and the design team might have thoughts about the written word, while the writers will work with developers to imagine and create cohesive products. It’s a team effort and ideas can come from anywhere and anyone. Every team member is respected and seen as someone you can learn from.
- Ask questions and explore opportunities.
We encourage our team not to make assumptions. Ask when you need clarification, tease out an idea to its full potential, and put an unexpected spin on an existing framework. Clients look to us for expertise, and sometimes that involves offering the unexpected, especially if it captures a corner of the market.
- Colour outside the lines.
When we’re approaching our work, we always ask: what if this brand were in a different industry? We don’t see the point of doing things as they’ve always been done just for the sake of it. The people who excel the most at Leap tend to be independent thinkers who are willing to take risks and have a bit of a rebellious streak when it comes to breaking convention.
- Keep learning.
We stay curious and recognize that there’s always a lot to learn from each other, from other industries, and from the world in general. Take advantage of the budget for professional development. Workshops, online courses, podcasts, YouTube videos—part of our job is to stay inspired and cutting-edge, and that means independently seeking out new and novel information and trends.
- Take ownership.
We’re a small team and we expect each individual to operate with a lot of autonomy. That can look like seeing a project through each step even if it wasn’t assigned to you originally, figuring out a new system and suggesting it to the team, or taking the lead in a meeting you scheduled even if you’re not the project lead. Employees are accountable first and foremost to a deliverable.

Leap is not a workplace with espresso, daily catered lunches, or fancy offices where you’re expected to stay late every night and we monitor your every move. It’s a great workplace with remarkable people. We understand and respect that you have a life outside of work. Creative Director
Our Creative Director will join our leadership team, working directly with Leap’s Owner, our Art Director, and our Director of Operations. We’ll look to you for big ideas and concepts—bringing together words and visuals—that draw from a deep understanding of the creative process. Leading an intimate team, the Creative Director will inspire and guide others to deliver outstanding work. Your artistic talent, strategic thinking, and extensive industry experience give you confidence to oversee the creative direction of our projects, collaborate with clients, and foster a culture of sharing, innovation, and excellence.
