Pushing a video production studio’s brand over the edge.
Video production talent Dave Wallace approached us about reimagining his Innovate Imageworks brand and website. We began with the name: Riptide, a nod to Dave’s West Coast roots and a powerful metaphor for his work.
Given his niche in destination marketing, we knew the logo had to appeal to corporate folk, while capturing the epic, cinematic nature of his videos. One of the salt chuck’s more epic creatures, a whale forms the round of the Riptide logo, while tides collide in the undertow, shaping a stylized R. Likewise, we knew we had to go big with the site, showcasing the depth of his work, from adrenaline-inducing adventures to resort retreats.
